WEAR ME, BUT DON’T WEAR ME OUTNever wear your bra two days in a row, or more than twice between washings. The elastic in even the finest bras needs to “recover” after a day of wear. You should always have at least 3 bras – 1 to wear, 1 to wash and 1 that’s ready to go.
BE GENTLE WITH ME
Be sure to wash your bra with lingerie wash, a soap specially formulated for bras and fine lingerie. Normal detergents and bleaches, even specialty “delicate” soaps, destroy elastic and lace and can reduce the life of your bra by as much as 50%.
THIS MAY COME AS A SHOCK
You can “shock” elastic and restore its stretch memory by rinsing it in cool water for a few minutes.
AFTER YOU WASH ME, GIVE ME SOME AIR
Never put your bra or any fine lingerie in the dryer, the heat can destroy the elastic. Always air dry.
BAG ME BEFORE YOU BATHE ME
Use a lingerie bag for bra care when machine washing – and make sure to use the “Delicates” setting. Fasten the clasp to protect underwires, lace and elastics during the rinse and spin cycles. Never over fill a bag to allow for proper cleaning and rinsing.
